1. The Department received DST-FIST  Level 1 support of 69 Lakhs in 2010.

2. The Department has received NBA Accreditation for BTech for the academic year 2020-21 to 2022-23 (valid till 30.06.2023).

 

 

1. Prof. Durbadal Mandal has been enlisted in the list of Top 2% of Scientists in the world in all disciplines during a single calendar year 2019 based on the Stanford University Study.

2. Prof. Rajib Kar has received Visvesvaraya Young Research Fellow award by Meity, GOI in 2016.

3. Dr. Aniruddha Chandra has received the Distinguished Researchers (SoMoPro) fellowship by the European Union in 2013.

4. Prof. Gautam Kumar Mahanti has been awarded Fellow of Institute of Engineers (India)

5. Prof. Gautam Kumar Mahanti has been promoted to HAG Professor 

6. Prof. Sumit Kundu has been promoted to HAG Professor

7. Prof.Sujit Kr. Mandal has received Visvesvaraya Young Research Fellow award by Meity, GOI in 2016.

8. Dr. Nilanjan Chattaraj achieved recognition for developing a Low-cost Semi-automatic AMBU Bag Pressurization System through the publication in "Science & Technology -efforts in India on COVID-19", by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, on 10th April, 2020 (Source)

9. Dr. Nilanjan Chattaraj achieved recognition as "Outstanding Reviewer" award for the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM), IEEE Society, for the year 2021.

10. Dr. Nilanjan Chattaraj received recognition as "Innovation Ambassador" by  the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell,  Government of India, 2021

1. NITD Team Secures 3rd Place in IEEE Global Video contest, 2020

2. K. Mukhesh and KVNM Bhargav, final year ECE students for securing 4th and 28th rank in GATE2020 Examination .

3. Ankit Kumar secured All India Rank 7th in ECE GATE 2019 Examination.

4. S. Mahata, a research scholar of ECE for receiving Premium Award 2019 for Best Paper in IET Signal Processing.

5. Mr. Shashibhusan Sarma, Research Scholar of ECE has been awarded best poster in IEEE International Conference on Industrial and Information System (ICIIS) 2018 held in IIT Ropar.

6. Baibhab Chatterjee’s work on securing implantable on-body medical devices is covered in the May 2019 issue of IEEE Spectrum.

He is currently pursuing PhD in Purdue University, USA.

7. Aniq Ur Rahman, final year B.Tech. student from ECE Department participated in the 7th Heidelberg Laureate Forum,  held on September 22 to 27 in Heidelberg, Germany.
